About
In an effort to promote educational exchanges between Turkey and Minority Serving Institutions in the United States, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) provides 10 comprehensive (all expenses paid) scholarships to Native American students per semester. Scholarships cover the cost of tuition and lodging, as well as a monthly stipend to help offset the cost of meals and transportation.
ITU was established in 1773 to educate chart masters and ship builders. Throughout its history stretching over 230 years, ITU has established some of Turkey’s leading departments and modern educational facilities while retaining traditional values. ITU continues to collaborate with its strong international contacts to mould young, talented individuals who can compete in the global arena.
In addition to ITU’s generous offer, eligible students can receive a scholarship from the Turkish Coalition of America of up to $2,000 per semester or academic year to assist with living expenses while they study in one of the most exhilarating study abroad destinations in the world.
